Chief’s Magic Review 47133k
It's difficult to not be amazed by how far online slot games have advanced in the last 15 years. At the turn of the century, most of the slots animated by leading software developers like Microgaming, were very crude classic slots with few features. Today, video slots have taken over the industry with the most advanced technologic features. With all the bells, whistles, cool video features, neat audio soundtracks and progressive jackpots, it's hard to come up with a viable reason to play a classic bar slot like Chief's Magic, which was released by Microgaming in the early 2000s. 6f4s2k
The game is really nothing more than a basic land-based slot machine designed for an online format. The game comes with not a single bonus feature and a very low payout schedule based on industry standards. The game face does have some decent graphics that feature a majestic looking Native American Indian Chief in a complete war costume. He is poised in front of a typical Western America background that reminds one of the old spaghetti westerns. Sadly, that's the total extent of the game's appeal.
The Format e2t3l
Chief's Magic's gaming format includes 3 reels and a single pay line. Players are permitted to wager 1-3 coins per spin with a designated coin value range of $.25 per coin at the low end of the range, up to a maximum of $5.00 per coin. That results in a cash investment range of $.25 to $15.00 per spin. If the player is lucky enough to land the game's highest possible jackpot of 3,000 coins, they would still walk away with only $9,000 at the high end of the range. That number is going to have little appeal for experienced slot players.

The game makes use of only six different symbols to create seven possible winning combinations on the pay line. Based on the pay table to the right of the game face, these symbols and the related multipliers are listed as follows, based on a maximum of three coins played: any three bars - 6X, three single bars - 9X, three double bars - 15X, three triple bars - 30X, three 7s - 75X, three Chief's Magic game logos - 150X and three Chief's - 600X. Note: the payouts are incrementally lower when playing only one or two coins per spin.
Bonus 125y69
This game does not include a wild symbol or any extra bonus features.
Verdict: There really is nothing to recommend here. No one would fault slot beginners who chose to use a game like this as a training ground. The low risk factor makes the game suitable for that. Otherwise, one's money would be better spent by playing any 5 reels video slots or a few of the classic slot games that were designed with bonus features and substantially higher payouts. Perhaps one day, developers like Microgaming will retire some of these classic slots and submit them for the slots Hall of Fame.
